The Piping and Flange Calculator app is a practical tool designed for field professionals, engineers, and technicians who need to verify pipe or flange ratings on the go. Its calculations are aligned with the ASME B31.3 2008 Process Piping code, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The application determines the appropriate pipe schedule and ANSI flange rating based on user-inputted parameters such as pressure, temperature, and corrosion allowances. The results screen provides comprehensive calculation details, including calculated wall thickness, recommended pipe schedule, stress values, operating pressure and temperature, and corrosion considerations.

It supports a broad range of pipe sizes from 1/2" to 24" and includes a database of materials such as carbon and stainless steels, with specifications like SA-106B-SLMS, SA-333-6 SMLS, SA-312/TP304L (welded and seamless), and SA-316L variants. If additional materials are required, users can request updates for inclusion.

The calculator accommodates both welded and threaded piping systems. Users can readily review the selected pipe schedule and flange rating on the main interface along with detailed calculation data.
